Three new CCG Offshore Science Vessels have been launched from Seaspan Shipyards in North Vancouver. These ultra-quiet 63 m vessels are powered by diesel electric units with vibration isolation supplied by Lo-Rez. Two of the vessels are destined for service on the Atlantic Coast, where they join three CCG Inshore Science Vessels powered by twin Cat C18’s, having the Lo-Rez “Soft Mount System” for vibration and noise isolation.
